Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau and Conferli join forces and launch world’s first MICE benchmarking tool for Countries

Data-driven application helps associations, countries, destinations, and venues find each other directly, enabling a transparent and efficient tender process.

Zeist, the Netherlands (14^th of March 2022) - After a successful launch in June 2020 Conferli is proud to announce today another innovative addition on its platform. This milestone is the result of cooperation between Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau and Conferli who joined forces to find a solution that would help streamline the process of matching association events with countries.

With this development an important unmet need in the event industry is addressed, namely conference organizers are now able to base their country choice on data-driven benchmarking. In this additional process, associations are matched with countries based on their strengths and suitability, which cuts their lead time, increases their success rate, and makes the tender process cost-efficient. Especially for associations being able to compare countries is of utmost importance. Furthermore, Local hosts or national associations can now easily find a suitable destination within their country.

“Since the launch of Conferli we have observed that destination matching is becoming increasingly important for associations. With the new launch of country comparison and benchmarking we give organizers the possibility to first get matched on country level. This has a special function during the pandemic period because associations will be able to see quarantine rules per country in one overview, next to sustainability measurements, country support and ecosystems,” explains Ms. Nienke van der Malen, Founder and CEO of Conferli.
